sometimes, a recurring project runs like clockwork—until it doesn’t maybe the client wants to pause work, or priorities shift but your project keeps trying to repeat on its usual schedule you don’t have to let it run when it’s not needed you can pause the project, then resume it later when the time is right here’s how pausing and resuming works you can pause or resume projects in two places—whatever suits your workflow best option 1 from inside the project click the three dot menu in the top right to pause or resume the project recurrence select pause project recurrence from the dropdown options select resume project recurrence from the dropdown options when resuming, you’ll see an option to inherit the skipped close periods —this means you can bring back the work that was missed while the project was on hold option 2 from the project list find the recurring project you want to manage click the three dot menu in the actions column select pause project recurrence from the dropdown options select resume project recurrence from the dropdown options ✅ pro tip if you already know what you want to do, the list view is quicker but if you’re unsure, open the project to review it first before taking action
