Review 1099
This module is an easy-to-use tool for checking 1099 forms for your clients. It will show you a list of all vendors who have received at least $600 or more from your bank account to theirs, excluding debit/credit card and cash transactions,
- Identify which of your client's vendors need 1099 forms.
- Keep track of vendors who are missing W9 forms.
- Use the Client Portal to request W9 forms from your clients.
- Export the report as an Excel file.
When you open the 1099 module from the left-side panel, you'll see a list of your vendors. The list is sorted by how much you've spent with each vendor. There are filters that you can apply, such as:
- Meet 1099 Threshold
- Status
- 1099 Applicable?
- Have W9?
You can also create your own filters by clicking the New button beside preset filters.
At the top right side of the list is a Config button, from which you can exclude bank account, account, and ref # transactions so they do not appear.
You can enter missing information in the transaction, such as the vendor's Address, Email, EIN/Tax ID, etc.
You can use the Note field to input any note you want. Alternatively, you can upload the form using the Attachment option, which will be directly uploaded to QuickBooks.
The Export Excel button is in the top right corner. Click on the option that is suitable for you.
